He congratulated bibliologists and expressed gratitude for the hard work they have been doing for 40 years. He also stressed that despite difficult events in the history of the state, professionals have been always collecting, storing, researching and popularizing the Belarusian book heritage.

Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Tatiana Roshchina, who headed the Manuscripts, Printed and Rare Books department of the National Library of Belarus from 1983 to 2003, spoke about the work of the department in past years and wished the successors to move towards new achievements.

Anatoly Steburako, Head of the Bibliology Research department, noted that today the department is based on the valuable experience of past generations and seeks to preserve and enhance the best traditions of science.
