The National Library of Belarus will host Library as a Cultural Phenomenon, the 7th International Congress on October 21–22, 2020.
The 2020 Congress is dedicated to the local studies as the main direction to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of countries and peoples.

We invite specialists of libraries, museums, archives, research organizations, educational institutions, centers of folk art, amateur historians, developers and content creators, representatives of public and cultural organizations of Belarusians in foreign countries, and other interested parties to participate in the congress.

Congress Organization

The events will be held online and in the building of the Library.

The link to the broadcast will be given before the event on the portal of the Library, the registered participants will receive notification vie e-mail.

To participate as a guest, you should register online no later than October 15, 2020.

To make a report, you should register online and send the file with the report to secretar@nlb.by no later than October 20, 2020.

Procedure
Reports at the plenary meeting shall be up to 20 minutes, and up to 10 minutes at the sessional meetings.

Requirements for the Reports
Materials are to be published before the start of the Congress.
Report a title, a full name of the author/co-author, position, academic degree, name of the organization, city, country; full name of the presenting person.
The volume of the report, together with annotations, drawings, supplements, diagrams etc., should be no more than 6 A4 pages, Times New Roman, 13 pt, 1.5 line spacing, rtf, doc or docx file types.
Annotations should be in Russian with a maximum of 700 characters (including spaces).
Accepted are original works of scientific and applied significance.

The organizing committee reserves the right to select reports for the congress and materials for publication in the collection.

Presentation Requirements
The file type is ppt Microsoft PowerPoint.
